Before install the slim smart door lock, please make sure you follow up the steps: 

Step 1: you need to know firstly that it is for wooden door or for glass door.

Normally, there are door 3types that would choose this slim smart door lock.

1) Wooden door - push pull type, for slim wooded frame door

2) Glass door - push pull type, for slim metal frame door

3) Glass door - sliding door type, , for slim metal frame door

Step 2:  Measure the thickness of your door

Step 3: Measure current mortise size and door open direction

Step 4: Choose the correct mortise for your smart door lock
